Hello. Nice to meet you.
Tony is a passionate entrepreneur who lives in the future and loves creating new things. With experience in construction, manufacturing, automation, and product development, there's no one better to lead the team.
When Jess is not busy cuddling with her cute little dachshunds, she is making the coolest night light outlet covers that ever existed. A perfectionist and a master multi-tasker, Jess is the perfect craftsman for ioEdge.
Tech is Rowan's middle name. This technology-guru is quick with a joke, and can take the perfect picture in any kind of light. He also has some mad skills when it comes to video editing - "lights, ..camera, ..action!"
Jaden is fun and full of energy and just so happens to be a box folding kung-fu master. He is skilled in the art of cardboard construction. If it's made of cardboard and has more than 4 sides, chances are he can fold it.
We are a small family owned business
We are a small family owned business located in a great neighborly community in South East Michigan.
Many of our customers are family, friends and neighbors, and we will treat you the same. We want you to be so happy with your experience that you are just as excited as we are to share ioEdge with your family, friends and neighbors.
Since I was a kid I always wanted to be an inventor. I still remember when my kids were young, when they just started crawling in the late 2000's. They would always crawl over to the plug-in nightlights in the outlets and pull them out. It used to terrify me because their little fingers would be touching the metal prongs on the back while they were still plugged in, I was always afraid they would get electrocuted.
Then I replaced the plug-in nightlights with safety plug caps but it didn't solve the problem, my kids were still afraid of the dark and we couldn't see a thing walking thru our house at night.
After a few stubbed toes and kids nightmares we decided to leave a few lights on in the house at night, but it still didn't solve the problem. When I got up in the middle of the night, it would hurt my eyes and I had trouble falling back to sleep with all the bright lights. That's when I though there has to be a better way.
When we moved into our new house in 2015 I started looking for a solution, something built in so it doesn't plug into an outlet and can't be unplugged. Something that softly lights up the area around the wall and floor shining softly down away from your eyes. Something that looks really nice and actually improves the look of our home.
I searched everywhere, but the product I wanted just didn't exist. I kept assuming that if I waited long enough that someone else would come out with a product similar to what I imagined, but no one ever did, so in 2017 I decided it was time to start working on ioEdge.
After 3 years of development, we are very proud to bring to you:
